This picture was shot in an old wine cellar in Abbey Eberbach, the abbey were parts of „The Name of the Rose“ with Sean Connery have been shot. They have an really ancient wine cellar where the wine barrels are all topped by a candlestick. The burning candles were the indication for humans that they could access the cellar without the danger of suffocation.
Since September 2010 I have a guest living in my apartment. Elli, a Birman cat. She’s keeping me quite busy and it’s more or less not possible to take any pictures of her as
a) being still for even 5 seconds isn’t really something she normally does
b) whenever flashlight meets her eyes she looks like a cat from hell
A pity as her eyes are normally of a clear blue!
So this was the original photo taken during playing with her
and that’s what Lightroom finally made out of it:
those two wallpapers are from yesterdays photo tour. The tree is a very old tree in that area I always take a picture off whem I’m there. So far I’ve pictures of all times of they year except summer.
Due to the cold weather of the last weeks there’s another winter picture I edited to a wallpaper.
